After seeing a few badly sunburned people this week from all the nice weather we are having, I felt it appropriate to talk about hats. They are an excellent way to protect you from the sun’s UV rays and prevent unpleasant and sometimes dangerous sun burns. Here are a few of the mesh back hats we have available at our store. The great thing about these hats is they not only protect from the sun, but are breathable and keep your head cool during hot summer days.

While these hats may protect your eyes and face, it’s always important to use sunscreen on any skin exposed to the sun. The sun is most intense between 10 AM and 2 PM especially during the summer months. Taking protective measures when outside is easy, painless, and takes only a few minutes. Make sure you cover up, use sunscreen, and keep your skin happy and healthy.

The days are getting longer and the weather is warming things up, now is the perfect time to start working on those outdoor (or indoor) projects. One helpful accessory to keep tools and smaller trinkets handy is the Carhartt A09 Duck Nail Apron.

We recently had a customer, Terry, who ordered two sets of the Carhartt PVC Rain Bibs and PVC Rain Coats for deep sea fishing in Japan. He was kind enough to provide us with some feedback as well as a photo of his excellent catch while out on the waters.
